Description:

I have made several exciting improvements to RPnet to make it much more friendly to new Roleplayers and I am taking steps to incorporate all the bots in the RP network (RPNet, LTCTracker, AARP and Staffing) to work together to better serve you!

What do you need to know?

The answer is easy! ‘/tell rpnet !features’. The Features module contains information about all of RPnet’s commands, Roleplaying Forums, Roleplaying Chat Channels and Roleplaying Organizations!

Effective 20 January 2010 the RPNetwork has been decommissioned.

Thank you all for the good times that I have had over my years inside of the community and for the opportunity to serve you.

Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to see some of you again in different adventures in different worlds.

The epic storms that hit Michigan rolled through Pennsylvania yesterday and power has been out.

My Battery backup was only able to keep the server online til about 9pm - it's 9am now and I'm hoping it will all be back up by the time I get home from work today.

Thank you. And at this point I believe it will be unlikely. The ARKs informed the RK1 Roleplayers of my efforts and encouraged them to contact me, however none have. Based on that fact I'm going to assume these bots are going to remain solely on RK2.

I haz an idea.... dunno if you can make this baby fly.

Instead of an "Events beginning this week" etc, could you make it so that a player can register their RK time offset (+12 in my case) in the bot, and when we log in we get a /tell or something that will show the week's events in our localised time?

I mulled it over... I may be able to do this, but not like you suggested.

Currently Spam in AARP is general - It queries the Database, finds the time, reports the time to the channel. There is no way localize this time. I can however, Omit the time from the Report, and have a link that reads "Click to find out When these Events Begin!". This will return the standard '!events' link via tell, which since it's a tell, can be customized based on the person requesting it.

I might work this into a broader update for the bot which I would like to do before October.

First Update for September:

!timezone command.

This will allow you to specify the timezone which you live in so that the !events command can convert the default Event time (US/Eastern) into your local time for easy planning.
