Hehe Lifebleeders at NW mines. I remember everyone running for the cave. If anyone can remember there actually was Fearplanters there but FC patched them out.

Ninjabots in Wine. Not sure what appropriate levels really are. The group I was there with had a lvl 200 Enf close by in case they got into trouble, but the chars were roughly 45-65.

Oh yeah! I remember the borgs in Avalon!

Hunt them from around 50-85ish, the borgs are WSW from Camelot (follow the road out the South gate until you reach the nearest outpost then head W towards a mountain looking thing in the distance). The borgs are 90-130 if I remember correctly, most people only hunted them until early-late 80s.

I've been trying to spend some more time hunting on RK (so much more relaxing than having to deal with the idiots and drama in SL)....anyways....lets see if we can't bring on more of this!!!!

Cheers,

These spots are what sucked me into AO. They were almost magical.. new places to go as you lvl'ed. No standing in the same spot for 500 hours, killing the same repetitive mob over and over... WTB!

Oh my god... This is nostalgia alley...

I miss going to Blubbags in VW around lvl 35ish with 3 other enforcers and 2 DDs, and we would alternate on when to Mongo when the tank was short on life, so he could heal up and be ready for the next round.
When tanks we're the Enforcers who would mongo to save your life, not the "I don't use mongo cause I get agg" of today.

Or 8x8 bothackers when some dink hit the wrong mob and pulled the whole camp on the 2-3 teams out there.

Or when we would be out by the GTC Outpost doing shades, and someone would go "What's that thing which looks like a maggot?", and the team would go "Oh sh*t! Sandworm!!" and die...
Went back at lvl 90 with a friend and exacted my revenge by the way... We hugged reclaim like always.

It was a moment where we saw the best (people all overthe world coming together in shock, grief and support) and the worst (e.g. cries of 'lets nuke <insert country>'), but it was a moment that would not have been possible but for the world of the internet and MMOs.
In this medium we transcend boundaries, in here it matters not what the colour of your skin is, the religion to which you do or don't belong, whether you are 15 or 50, and whether or not you have a crippling disability. It is a nation of its own, where everyone starts out on equal terms and can forge friendships without superficial, cultural and nationlistic barriers.

The camps I can remeber hunting throughout my MP's first year are the following:
NW pipe somewhere between 20-40, VB camp from 40-60ish, 8X8 from 60-90ish and then the old Ace camp at 90+ (we were always standing outside "the safe house" so we could zone in if things got too hairy ) Other than those camps there was some borg and medusa hunting, but not a whole lot. At 120+ we mostly did single missions teamed up because there was no team missions.

Word! Snarf and Garzu at Ace Camp was awesome fun

'nother spot for 120-150ish Omni
Ninjas at PM outposts, follow the road NE or SE
Then the medusas in NW EFP/DAV were the only other high-lvl spot for omni.

Talking Long live Rubi-Ka!

Sweet! I love hunting on RK. Everything from the landscape to the variety of mobs. This gives me a few new places to go! Good to know places to find borgs.
