Eldar's AO Scripting Wizard
Greeting all.
I am new to this Forum and have been in the game for about 4 months or so. I am with The Pilgrims and love the MP class. After playing a bit I began work on this program. There are still a few bugs, that are currently beingworked on, but in all it works.
With this program you can build scripts for the game without really knowing the commands. The link to the site is: http://theanimedojo.com/AO_ScWiz/index.htm
Post thoughts, sugestions, and comments on this thread and tell me what you think.
Originally I was only going to have it for guild use but decided to open it for all. Enjoy

yes.. must be careful of them pilgrims, for they lurk alot, and post every now and then..
and when they do post, they've been known to post in groups... or something to that effect...

I've got plenty of screenshots of Shadowgod wearing silly hats, don't you doubt its true!
Oh, and I must say that Chirop is not an appropriate substitute for good ol' earth Turkey.

awesome
well after playing with it for awhile, i have come to the conclusion that this thing is awesome. great work man, really... downloaded the "install" version and no problems at all with it. everyone should give this a try, it makes all your scripting easy... if you already have scripts, download this anyways... youll find a few new scripts to make at least. I'm just glad it was a fellow MP who made it.

I have now finished version .03
Many buggs fixed and some new things added. The color can now be sent directly to Pet Name and the program can now be minimized. Also the program acually uses the path set in config now.
Let me know what you think and also let me know of any buggs found. Well it is now 5:00am time for bed.

Is the download URL still the same? Let me know so I can change the link in the beginner's guide where necessary.

Can we get this rooted for a while?
I've been trying to direct a lot of people to it who ask about help with scripts, colors, etc.

Sallust,
The link to the utility is in the Index page of the Beginner's Guide. If you need to point somebody at it point them there they can use the link there. It's more permanent on the whole.

Its not catchy for people to see it though. I thought it might do good for a week or two to have it up, then people would know about it. Getting them to learn about the scripter is the first trick.
Anyways, not a lot of worries but I thought it would be helpful. I know you also like to keep the number of rooted threads to a minimum. Thanks for your always prompt reply X.

Hmmm OK. Rooted it for a while. We don't have too much up there right now after all. I make no promises as to how long it should stay up there though.
