The CIA wants
you!
CIA is a newly re-established scandinavian guild comprised of recently returning players.
CIA at the core is made up of a group of real life norwegian friends who play together using Ventrilo for voice communication. We have characters spanning from low levels to 200+. In real life, most of us are getting close to our 30s. What we want is to have fun in the game, wether by PVM and PVP and we always did like making an impression on others. We've dabbled quite a bit in roleplaying and while we're never serious about it, some of us like to play roles and we generally like concepty guilds with a little substance.
The general concept of CIA is simple, we want to eradicate the Omni-Tek corporation and expand clan influence and borders everywhere! To represent the clan colours, all members get an (optional to wear) red plasteel uniform they can don on their social tab. Our immediate plans are still a little uncertain, but guild city and bases are probable goals.
We have our instanced guild city available from ICC and we'll be working on getting us some land control areas asap!
Guild History
The CIA has roots in a couple of other guilds before it. When we first joined up in 2001, we created the Beggar's Guild, a guild of low-lives who spent many of their days hanging around Tir but also dabbled in omni intelligence. After a while when we had gained some members and sobered up a bit, The Beggar's Guild ironically became Tir City Watch, a guild of uniformed watchmen offering help to newbies and doing general policing. Still, we didn't quite see as much action as we wanted and after the release of Notum Wars, we rolled new characters and started a new guild that would change the face of low level PVP forever, the Clan Imperialist Army.
We had more fun than anyone should expect to have in an MMORPG, but after a while, RL stuff got in the way of the game and things started unravelling. Before most of our members left the game, some made the jump over to more active guilds like Clan Anarchist Syndicate and Reborn. Sometime in 2003, the guild disbanded ..
However, free time offers and all that - in june 2009, most of us came back with all expansions and once again we're kickin' ass!
What Kind of People do we Want?
Ideally, new members are mature, friendly easy-going people who have a sense of humour! We help eachother with buffing, tradeskills and items and so we expect you to do the same for us. If you want to join us on Ventrilo, you should speak a scandinavian language so that we can understand what you're saying and - more importantly - so that you can understand us.
