Old School RK Hunting Areas!!!

I would love to have you list the Old School Hunting Areas here!

Frankly, I really dont like SL at all, and with I good team I have found out that we way Out XP Heckler Hunting (Nascence) on Rubi-Ka.

I have just returned to AO, after a long time off, and I want something other than Hecklers and missions; back to "old" days ways of pwr lvling. Ive managed to race from lvl 1 to 69 in about 12 hrs play time on RK (2hrs in SL).



HUNT AREAS:

L5+ team/single, outside Newland City:
Tons of low lvl mobs to kill here.

L15-25 team, Oasis:
Good spot NE of NLC, have to zone into Newland Desert. Its about in middle between Prof Van Horn & NLC, cant miss it; its an Osais with huge Dinosaurs.

L25-40 team, Rhinoman Cockpit:
This place is NE of Oasis, watch out for clan guards though who guards the tunnel into this place (you can get here by crossing mountain a but south of the guards)

L40-65 team, Virus Builders:
1minute West of 20k. They are lvl 80ish. These mobs are great for a good team of lvl 40+!

L50-90 team, Bot Hackers:
SE of 20k, marked on map. They are lvl 95ish. Need better team here, and by NO means attack any but the Bothackers!! Good for players/teams up to at least lvl 80ish. Insane fast xp here


Please post your ancient Rubi-Ka hunting knowledge here or any other tips for pwr lvling at any lvl on Rubi-Ka

L30-60 Team

NW and SW Pipes, (Shades - the RK mobs!) North West and South West (duh!) of the Lush Outpost (follow road west out of Harrys). Mobs drop mob parts, small cash and other bits rarely.

L60-80 Team

NE Cave - all sorts, head NE from the same outpost.

Outpost boasts scannres, reclaim and an adv shop to boot! You can hang there from mid-ToTW to TL4 if you can stand it. Mobs spawn in various types - 5-6 hunting spots in the area all in view of the big cave. Inside cave is an empty static, useful for hiding! Mobs drop mob parts, implants and various other bits.

Watch out for LifeBleeders at the cave!

Remember this area now, but cant remeber the lvl of the Lifebleeders. What lvl r the lifebleeders?

There's NOTHING like getting revenge on a Lifebleeder at NW mines. I sometimes go there just to hit them with a 10k FA.

Lemme see if I can remember some clan areas from the old days.

5-15: Crater Farm Valley (W of Tir), Fleas at Impact Crater (W of Crater Farm Valley)

20-30: Bridge area in Wartorn Valley (S of WA), Junkyard (where the Trash King is, well, before everyone shot everything in sight that is)

30-45: ToTW and the Cyborg Barracks area, Bully Bridge in Varmint Woods (bridge over the water W from the wompahs, S from Newland), Crossroads (near the Bully Bridge)

50-70: Shades in NW Greater Tir County, Vultures at the Tooth in Wartorn Valley, Vultures near same Shades I mentioned.

Made this list from what I remember back in the day. Level ranges can probably be lower due to new things in game.

not positive on the lvl's on these spots but im pretty close

Bronto Oasis- Mort, directly NE of newland- lvl 25+(brontos & sally's)

The Tooth- Aegan, not far from Rising Sun outpost- lvl 50+(vultures)

Snake Pit- i forget where but its somewhere out in VW, has a blaster beetle guy there & a whole buttload of snakes- lvl 80+

Crossroads- VW also, head out of Newland & follow the road all the way into VW till you hit a crossroads, right b4 the bridge.- lvl 40+(however i think a lot of the mobs were moved a long time ago)

Cyborg Barracks in Avalon- used to have like 3 teams in there just going nuts, was a blast- lvl 100+

Bronto Oasis is in Newland Desert not Mort. You can wompah to the Desert Outpost and follow the trail SSE.

The best times I've had in this game were in the old days hunting outdoor mobs on Rubi-Ka. But, uh, I guess killing the same mob (hecklers) for 220 levels is fun too.

Don't forget the ninjas on the beach at Wine. Just right for when you've left ToTW. If you get in trouble you can run to the cannons and there is a save booth in the village. Very cool.

In high levels the mobs at primus camp are excellent xp if you can get into a spawning team.

i remember the good ol' shades at GTC NW from the outpost... if ppl had ppools then they would be big hehe, was always 2 or 3 teams there and someone always maneged to pull the whole camp since they are misivly soc or a sandworm would apear a´nd everyone would die

I would remeber there used to be Cyborgs to hunt somewhere on RK...? Am I wrong on this or was it in Avalon or Mort?

All Claners were at the outpost northwest of tir those times...
