Dark Ruins failed...
... after less than a week. Every 170+ is lft in inferno again.
As long as a 160 can team a 220, nothing will change.

I strongly disagree. I think a lot of people are farming Halloween phats atm, myself included. But I intend to spend a lot more time at Dark Ruins as soon as Halloween is over.
I'm willing to bet its easy to get teams if you just send a few tells. I put "Inf" in the description because I'm optimistic and looking for a handout, but after sitting around twiddling my thumbs all night, I'd gladly join a Ruins team.

Same here. I haven't done Dark Ruins at all yet, but I will after Halloween. Until then, I have too many alts that all want that dancing skeleton doll.

Disagree as well.. Dark Ruins solo instance is simply awesome xp.
Team version on the other hand.. Goddess armor is, well, a nice levelling armor but there it just about stops.

Dark ruins has had its thunder stolen by halloween phatz atm
Will become popular when people have more time to explore.
I think the instance was great, and the chief reason being.... humour, I laughed quite a few times as I went on, Loke being the most amusing. The other quests are very dry and long winded. However, on dark ruins the dialog was short, punchy and funny.
Loving the "daily Dojo" chip atm.
Massive XP for little work each day.

These befouled undergarments are painfully confining having previously belonged to a detail-oriented individual with much smaller genitals. Walking is difficult...running is impossible. Stains of a dubious nature adorn both the front and back of these "tighty-whities". Noxious fumes make your eyes burn and your nose run while wearing these. One can only imagine what you are doing wearing them.

So, you mean to tell me that you go scuba diving, rock climbing and para-sailing in these inferno missions, as opposed to grinding on identical mobs in identical rooms for identical reasons?

Wow, now you're just talking yourself into it. That's sad really.
Anyways ... I completely it yet but I have the feeling that they will be popular for the average guy and those that can solo it effectively.
To say it failed ... not sure why anyone would say that. It's a good spot to get XP. Simple. Sure inferno missions give more. They also demand more from you to do them.

I personally hate inf missions...but they are alot better than Dark Ruins is. Which says a lot about how boring Dark Ruins gets after the 10th time.
(not to mention inf missions giving 10 times as much xp)

I mean... to each his own.
Dark Ruins is as repetitive as an Inf. Mission in hindset.
Its just a lot more fun, and currently new. And viable for every toon as opposed to those who have higher levels to get them molars and boots.

I like dark ruins, too bad I'm out of tl5s to do single quest :/
Team instance is 1-2 guaranteed levels, fairly easily, with a tl5 team. For those who don't have 220 friends or 220 toons on another account. The armor isn't that great but I'd say the instance is worth doing once a day just for xp, so no, it didn't fail.

Right, because finding the button is so interesting? And different mobs require vastly different tactics to kill?
Haven't been to Dark Ruins yet, but I look forward to it. I have four characters that can do it atm, with several more on the way.

If it's Halloween that causes it, while possible, people would also not be lft for Inferno.

Surely the new armour that drops in there is useful enough to chars around that level to keep going back?
(Excluding S10 twinks and the likes)
