rk2 is a zombie town. I dont care if AO has "unforseen bugs" with a merge. Remember when SL dropped?? straight horrible to play for the first few weeks but we all made it through and its a great zone.
Like someone else said i dont think people would care if the servers were down a good 1week for you to iron out the kinks, its a merge needs to happen asap and im not sure why this wasnt a #1 priority the last 1-2 years.
Why not ask other game studios? like Blizzard, Riot, Trion or Sony? They certainly knows how to merge old ass servers without too much hassle, learn from Everquest and DaoC, they made it out pretty fine with the merges and the transfers (even forced transfers). And they got just as old servers as you guys got.
