Would it be useful to be able to get push notifications when a tower site is attacked?

Been thinking about a function where you select tower sites to monitor and when any of those get attacked you get a message on your phone.

It would use Google cloud messaging so AnarchyTalk don't have to be running.

This would be awesome!
I'm not actively in Tower wars these days but when I was that would have made my life much easier.
I'm sure all the PVP'ers would be using this app shortly after this feature goes live.
Only downside: It will be harder to grab sites that you think are not being watched... lol

Works fine on HTC EVO 3d with android 4.0.3. The only weird thing that I have noticed is that there is a really long list of characters in the "select character" list. Old chars maybe?

Yes, those are old chars. The Char-IDs remain associated to the original account, even though the corresponding playable character was deleted.
Keeping the ID in the database prevents quite a lot of problems and is the reason you can, with some luck, get FC to restore a deleted character. (Sadly in quite a lot of cases minus the gear)

I have also some characters that i will never need back, but i hate that their IDs are still associated with my account.

Only way I know of is to create characters with those names on another account

Would it be possible to add keywords that it can trigger on?
Let's say i get a random attack in org, it would be usefull for it to sound and alarm so i don't miss it (i'de have to manually stop the alarm as to make sure i wakr up if i happen to be aleep in the sofa or whatever )
Or any other kind of spam it can snap up on, s42 gathering, whatever really...

@nanoforcer: Sounds like a nice idea for a feature, but for now you'll get half of that. Next update will bring tower war notifications.
You will be able to select tower sites to monitor and when any of those is attacked you will be notified (trough push notifications, so 'the leet' dont need to be on)
