Yay!You're right. I was checking KLM and other sites. Ryanair is leaving from Eindhoven too but only on tuesdays, thursdays, and saturdays.
Düsseldorf Weeze looks much better though, their flights leave on 11:05 friday and return flight leaves from Oslo at 12:10. And it's close as frack to Nijmegen.
I can also sleep at an orgmate's house so that will cut down the costs further, too.
I have some additional AO swag that I will be mailing off to the gathering for sure.

The HQ and the Pub we're going to is a bit far away from eachother, so I'd recommend getting a place in the city centre.

First Hotel Millennium Oslo will be a block away from the pub we're going to.
Comfort Hotel Boersparken is also close by, I'd suggest you have someone escort you back to this hotel after the pub though, the area can get a bit.... lively in Saturdays.
Thon Hotel Astoria Thon hotels are a favourite of mine, also close.
Scandic Edderkoppen is farther away, but in a nice area. My own accommodation is also close to this spot.
Park Inn Oslo is perversely close by the pub.
Rica Victoria Hotel really nice one, but starting to get into the more pricey stuff, same with Thon Hotel Cecil.

It's *extremely* easy to get to the FC offices from central Oslo, either by taking a train or via one of several buses; Travel time from downtown to the office is anywhere from 10/20 minutes (depending on method chosen) so it isn't hard to get here at all. I'll be posting more direct information on how to travel to the FC offices (and the Dubliner) as we get closer to time - We'll also probably send one of us up to Oslo S (the central train station) to gather folks at a set time to lead them to the office. =)

You can rent a citybike card for one day and for the next 24h you'll be able to pick up bikes on many stations placed all over the city.
I really like this feature of Oslo.

So i wont recommend it.
Here in town we have "city bikes" where you put in a 20kr coin and can drive it around as long as you want, and when you return it to one of the posts that you can tether it at you'll get your 20 back. Neat feature too. You only get a fine here if you drink and bike.
