Eddie Izzard - Marathon Man.

I've gathered that there are a lot of Eddie Izzard fans on these forums. I've always enjoyed his stand up and he always seemed like a great guy in general.

I didn't know about this insane thing he did for Sport Relief last year. I just found out about it on youtube where I have so far watched 2 episodes of his mega marathon run through the U.K.

So far in episode 2 he has run 24 marathons in 28 days. He is a bit over halfway.

I mean, this is a guy that is a stand up comedian and he is not in good shape and he has no real experience with running. He's just an average middle aged man that spent a few weeks doing some basic training to get "ready" and then started doing 1 marathon a day, every day with a "rest day" every 7'th day.

So much physical and mental pain. Yet he is still going.

I'm gonna watch episode 3 now. I'm just posting about this here because it's really amazing to watch and a feat like this should be watched by more people.
