Whenever I try join of these bots or the first time it gives me that message, followed by a message telling me it added me as a member (all from one join attempt).

The next join attempt should work, and auto-invites as you log on from there.

Bot was down today I noticed though, soldier one too.

I joined this bot for a while, but it wasn't really active ro anything. Many log ons and offs, but never any chat activity or anything. Today, I just don't click "yes" when it asks me to join the channel. I would rejoin if it showed any activity.

I'm in there almost all the time, so is Nukealeet, and I see Keldros there pretty regularly as well. If you say something or ask a question people will usually respond to you. Otherwise theres not much to talk about so thats why you don't see a ton of "activity" :P

I'm always in the bot but almost never look at it. But people can see me logging on and ask me in tells if they need anything, so its not useless. Just stay in bot, if not for chat then for us so we can know you're there

How would you know if there's activity on it if you're not there?

It's probably like the other prof bots I've seen. Activity is sporadic. Nada for days then more flaming noise and traffic than all the OOCs combined for an hour.

If there is little chat why not just joined it anyway? Whats the big deal, so you're subcribed to a channel?

There is plenty of chat in it anyway, on RK2 at least, but even if there wasn't, if you want to chat, start up convo.
