I agree with a previous poster that this would make a great AO Promo movie. Bump for Funcom to pick this up and use it.

Wow.. I'm the kinda person that is VERY hard to impress, but that video really impressed me.. i mean wow.. the music fit perfectly with the scenes, the angles were great, everything was just awesome.. and i agree that Funcom should really work something out with you to us this video. It made me wanna play AO.. awesome job indeed.

Yes the music is from "Pirates of the Carribean". Its the title "Barbossa is Hungry".

But i think for an official promo the music is the problem cause funcom dont have the rights for commercial use

I think the rights for such a song are a little bit expensive

@bleodemm: i think the problem is that all these servers ar standing in germany ... the far distance lowers the speed extremely ... if u got a server in the USA feel free to open another mirror

the video was finished quite fast i think. i have been on the beast raid which was filmed and soon after that the video was published

I think it was about 20-25 hours worktime. But i dont remember exactly :P
When i filmed the scenes at pande the half of the video was ready.

Its brilliant, you really captured the essence of Ao.
My only concern is that you don't show much life in your captures (empty towns and such) when some places are actually crowded by lower levels.
But again, brilliant.

one other thing:

technically uncom cant really use this as an official promo vid because well, it'd look supremely dumb with that nicked music

new soundtrack and it = teh perfect win

edit: the lag at the start doesnt help either :P
