Technical question to all the movie makers:
I've been looking at the Windows Movie Maker thing myself and while the editing functions are nice, the final result seems a bit ... uhm, very low quality and you can only make these windows movie file-types?
Is any of you using a better alternative, offering similiar functions (adding comments, pictures, sound, etc), but with more options to save the final result?
My video got turn into pixel mush, if only all things would be as easy to use as MSpaint ... sighs.
When saving chose Other
and the option i use is Video for Broadband Ntsc 2mbps total
but i learned that the resolution you play on, plays an important role in video quality also.. the higher resolution for example 1600 x 1200 will be a little worse looking than 1024x768.

Noticed the different saving options, but still it basically takes a video clip of several hundred MB and nerfs it down to like 5 MB and you can hardly read the playernames anymore
But maybe I should try another resolution then.
