How long did you camp your spirit shroud?

With a little help I killed around 100 in a few hours today. Odds are I wouldve found one right? Wrong. Just a bp and 1/2 full of frags and almost a bp full of ingots. I would think after killing so many in a row with no breaks they have a good chance of dropping, but I guess not.

why camp for so long? no way in the world id camp some thing for months when OFTA or HNTA are just as good and damn alot easier to get...

For PvM, there is simply nothing which comes close to the Shroud, except the RBP against weaker mobs. When I got my shroud, my soloing ability skyrocketed and my ability to stay alive when I pulled aggro in a team mission or alien raid went through the roof. Not getting critted makes such a huge difference, I can't explain it. You last long, can cast more dots before healing, and it makes the amount of damage you take predictable. I have a 12% alien crit scope, and can still 1/1 my hammers with it equipped, but I still use the Eremite Macro sensor for 1% crit reduction. Its totally worth it. I'm not sure the shroud is worth 4k kills of the notum scourges, but its just not comparable in ANY way to an OTAF Tank and its CERTAINLY out of the HNTAs league.

well, i am up to 405 kills now without any luck, camping on and off the last 2 months now it appears... I basically gave up unless orgmates drag me out there to help. I will have to settle for my OTAF and eremite macro sensor for -1% crit resistance. Maybe one day I will get it.

im going to be a cru farmer :P

well kinda...im busy with school now and i just have 3-4h to play... and im going to dedicate that time just to cru farming.
and i get at least 500% per session.

i think in bout 1-2 months ill be good to go and spam the market forums :P

PS and no. i dont care if 20 of my friends ding 220 by the time i start lvling again. cuz ill still be able to keep their gimp azzez alive :P

Tried to get this about 3 months ago. Killed constantly for 3 days at for roughly 8 hrs a day. Nada. Got very VERY annoyed and gave up.

Had nothing to do last night so thought i'd try again. Put in about 3 hours and Nada. Logged in in the morning and it dropped on about 10th or so kill.

Was kinda pleased, but even now i'm still angry at the amount of time and effort put in to get this item.

I just got back to AO again, on my first day I decided to grab a few org mates and go on a killing spree and vowed to not stop till one droped. On my 981st kill it finally droped

(sorry to rezz something a bit older but I think it needed to be done ^^ )
