Well, it's the 2nd link under Weapons in the Doctor Links sticky. I wish I could sticky every great thread in the forum, but we'd end up with a full first page of rooted threads. I'll try to clean up the stickies a tad, but...

Hey! You forgot MA in the list. I'm trying out the MA-route with my doc, and at 173 I can kill lvl 10 mobs randomly roaming Old Athens in one hit! Is it possible to do the same calculations with MA-skill?

I saw a doc with the new apf grey bananagun a few days ago but sadly i cant remember who it is. Anybody knows if it is any good ? and that perhaps can give a lil review

here , but MA is crit based, that's why it isn't that good for docs :/

Bump for a question about that great thread.

It's about Frost-Bound Reaper. Are the numbers given in the chart counting the Init lowerage that this wep gives, or is it calculated on a 1/1 Basis ?

However, for you init gurus, what is the required Init to hit 1/1 Full Agg with a 1/1 Weapon ?

Cause if we look at numbers (I'm thinking about full agg damage), the only few things that ODs FBR are dual 1HB or High crit MBC template...

I used FBR myself, and a close friend of mine doc is still using it dealing real good damage (for PvM only ofc), and was wondering how good of a weapon choice this was (hmm well exept the small nanoinit drawback it gives ya)

-76 init is needed to 1/1 a 1/1 weapon at full agg
1047 init is needed to do the same at full defense
the fbr is a crap weapon overall
go with kyr pistols or MBC

Btw I don't bloody know why should a FBR be a crappy weapon for a doc.
on a non high crit template, fbr > mbc on paper, and ingame, I never seen a doc of about the same level ODing my friend that's using FBR (+dots, perks etc).

I speak about fighting full aggro and PvM ofc.

I am a trox doc. I would LOVE it if someone could please post the calcs for a 220 maul like they have here for the others using a 175 and 2oo and 210 doc. Can even use a solitus skill package, I don't care, I just want a rough idea on where it stands. I was very surprised to see how well the 1hb look on the chart. Does 2hb cap lowest category as far as skill? Many thanks to whoever can accomplish this for me.

Has anyone tried 2x Kyr'Ozch Pistols? (QL 300 dualed with a QL 199, Type 1/4 or 4/1)

Seems that this setup would OD an MBC at high levels. Also do these damage calcs take into account normal shots and specials missing? Pistols could have +539 more AMS than an MBC, should be a big difference on tough mobs where misses are a factor. And Sentient Corrosive Turrets buff Proj damage.

I think the most powerful doc weapon would have to be dual Kyr pistols ql300, type 1 and 4 on an Opifex (since pistol is Agi/Sen based).

AR will be huge, and with the right damage adding equipment, this combo will blow anything else away.

I always wanted to try an Exceptional Mother Nitrogena, but never have.

That's why a 199 dualed with a 300. The 199 has about 900 MR iirc, and there is a huge jump at QL200, to about 1300. Easily doable by lvl 200 or so, between Ambidextrous, and the multi-ranged buff items out there (I used Brood Champ Gauntlets (+10 weap & MR), pearl of right brain, +7 ergo ring, Juggler's treat, . MP has a similar AR and weapon skills, and I put a QL193/QL215 combo on easily with my Soli MP at 203/204. Then just upgrade the main-hand pistol as your skill increases as you level.

I still don't exactly understand. Given the doctor's limitations and abilities, what exactly is the biggest damage outputter?

I'm hearing Sword of Dusk and Kyz'Orch Hammer - Type 112 or

Duel wielded Alien Machine Pistols, type five.

Which is it?
