Actually, I think its more a simple Easter joke about how the Rabbit has to get the eggs somewhere, and the chicken's don't like it.

didn't look inappropriate to me, oh well.
Think children about that are getting told how Mister Fluffy is now walking in the clouds. It was basically a picture of road kill, most people turn away and try and pretend they didn't see it. Now someone goes and gets a basket and coloured eggs puts them at the scene and takes a picture.
It is like when they rope your relative up to the roof rafters at the city morgue with pulleys, have them dressed as a clown, then put the show on youtube.
If they wanted the same joke cleanly a cartoon where there are ninja chickens sneaking around the rabbit burrows looking for a way to rescue their kidnapped eggs or succeeding and humiliating the bunny would have worked.
